ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Wellington Provincial Masseurs’ Association was held in the lied Cross rooms, Dixon street, Wellington, on Thursday, November ‘i-jth, IPiiij. During the course of his remarks he emphasised the benefits derived from the lectures given to the association by the members"of the medical profession, lie also stated to the members that notiliention was received from the Masseurs’ Registration Hoard that the L’ublic Health Department has given instructions to the medical officers of health of the various health districts that an inspection is to be undertaken of all massage rooms, and any other rooms where the treatment of the human body is carried out. Those remarks were received with the heartiest approval of the members. After the adoption of the report and balance-sheet the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:— President, Dr H. Hardwioke-Smith ; lion, vice-presidents, Drs E. Gordon Anderson, Agues Bennett, D. Eardley Ken wick, E. G. Joseph, C. Gordon Kemp, Alan Park, W. W. s'. Robertson, T. D. M. Stout; vicepresidents, Miss Mitchell, Mr R. T. McLean ; committee, Miss E. H. C. ’Bowen, Miss Saunders, Miss Trimmer; Mrs Richardson, Mr W. Barke, Mr U. O. Jorgensen; delegates to the New Zealand Trained Masseurs’ Association Inc., Miss Nicholson, Miss C. M. L. Smith, Mr It. T. McLean, Mr C. 0. Jorgensen; secretary and treasurer, Mr T. lv. Henderson.
