A TREAT TO-NIGHT

MISS MILLICENT KNIGHT’S RECITAL. In the Town Hall to-night Miss Millioent Knight will present a magnificent programme of vocal gems, the chief of which will be “Morio Voglio” (Astorga), “Gia il sole dal Gouge” (Scarlatti), “Lamento” (Duparc), “Le Trois Princesses” (Vuillermoz), and a delightful English group including “Flow Not So Fast Ye Fountains,” “Sweet ICate,” “Aly Sweet Sweeting,” “Dawn,” “I Have Twelve Oxen,” “Bless My Brooms,” and “The Terrible Robber Men.” There will also be items by Schubert, Brahms, and Hugo Wolf. Mr Leon de Maunv will be heard in Handel’s “Sonata in A” and also “Tambourin Cliinois” and “Chanson Indone.” Air Harold Whittle will be the accompanist Special concessions have been arranged for students.
