ARAAVA WITH IMMIGRANTS. AVith 510 passengers, including a largo batch ot immigrants, besides general cargo, the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Arawa (Captain W. G. Sommers) arrived at Auckland from Liverpool at 11 o’clock on Thursday morning. The vessel loaded her cargo at Glasgow and Liverpool, and embarked her passengers on October 12th. Final ueparture was taken from Liverpool on the same day. Crossing tile Atlantic the Arawa experienced favourable weather, nothing of an eventful nature occurring. She arrived at Colon on October 30th, and obtained transit tlirough the Panama Canal on the following day. At Balboa the passengers were able to have a short time ashore. Coming across the Pacific tile liner had fine weather to Pitcairn Island, which was reached on November 14th. After a stay of an hour the ship resumed her voyage. Nearing the New Zealand coast strong winds and rough seas were encountered. From Auckland the Arawa is to proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin to complete discharge, and is expected here on Thursday next. After part discharge, she is to sail again on Wednesday next for Bluff and Melbourne. NOTICES TO AIARINERS. The Bluff Harbour Board notify that No. 3 beacon has carried away. As soon as weather conditions are suitable an attempt will be made to locate it and remove it. In the meantime steps are being taken to place a red conical buoy to mark its position. As soon as possible a new beacon will be erected. Until this is done the light will be out of action. She is due at Suva on Decem!>er 3rd and Auckland on the 6th, and leaves for Sydney at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7th. SAN franciscoT aiail steamers. The R.AI.S. Alakurn, from Wellington via ports, was duo at San Francisco yesterday. The R.AI.S. Tahiti, from AVellington, is due at Sydney this morning. ISLANDS STEAAIERS. The Kaitoke leaves Sydney on Alonday for Fiji and Auckland. The Tofua left Suva at midnight on Thursday for Auckland# where she is duo on Alonday. TO COAIPLETE DISCHARGE. To complete discharge of her South African cargo, the Norwegian motor ship Thalatta is due at Auckland on Alonday from Nelson. From Auckland the vessel proceeds to Sydney, thence Islands to load for Continental ports. THE WEST HENSHAW. The American steamer AVest Henshaw leaves Napier on Monday for Lyttelton, thence Dunedin, to complete her discharge of Pacific Coast cargo. From Dunedin the vessel returns to the Pacific Coast to load again for New Zealand. CARGO FROM NEW YORK. The C. and D. Lino advise that the steamer Port Sydney leaves Auckland on Alonday afternoon for Napier, thenco Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff, to complete her discharge of New York cargo. She is due hero about December sth. THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. To complete her discharge and to continue her loading, the Canadian Government Line’s steamer Canadian Scottish left Timaru yesterday for Dunedin. Sho returns to AVellington on December Ist, and later proceeds to Napier, thence Auckland, to complete loading. Her departure from Auckland is scheduled for December 7th for New York, Boston, and Halifax. TURAKINA DUE TO-DAY. To lift further Homeward cargo, th' New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the steamer Turakina left New Plymouth yesterday for AVellington, and is due here to-day. Her other loading ports liavo not yet been announced. OTAKI AT LYTTELTON. The Federal S.N. Company arlviso that tho steamer Otnki arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Wellington, nnd leaves on Monday for Dunedin, to complete her discharge 0 f Liverpool cargo. PORT HOBART COMPLETING. The C. and D. Line advise that the motor ship Port Hobart arrived at Napier yesterday from AVellington to completo loading for Homo.
