A NOISY EXIT

MAN DETAINED IN COURT A most unusual occurrence took place at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning, when a young man suddenly found the wrath cf the bench descending upon him. The young man having heard all he wanted to made his exit in a noisy manner, stamping iiis feet on the ground. Mr W. G. Riddell. S.M., immediately sent the court orderly to bring him back, whereupon he received a severe reprimand. He was told that he would have to behave himself, and was ordered to remain in custody until tho court adjourned. After about an hour the young man was allowed to leave, which ho did. This time he might have been wearing rubber soled shoes!
