Dear Cheeriel, — I am only three, but I would like to join the fairy Ring. I have a little sister and her name is Betty. I had tea at Nellie’s place to-night. I am very glad to be a fairy in the Ring with all the other children, even though I have to sit on Nellie’s knee. AVell dear Cheeriel, I think I will go to bed now.—Your little Fairy". FAY COLLEY. (Aged three.) P.S.—Nellie is writing this for me. Fay. I Dear Cheeriel, — Last Friday I went to a fancy dress ball. I went as a Christmas Tree. I had a green paper dress decorated with Bilver tinsel and coloured glass beads. My hat was made to match the dress with tinsel and cherries. I had a tree with a fairy doll. Father Christmas, balloons, a Christmas stocking and a bird, and tinsel. A little girl as a Daffodil got first prize. On Tuesday I went to a party. Our teacher is going to take us for a picnic at the end of the year. Daddv went down to Christchurch _ and brought home some lovely cherries.— Your FAY. J.
