The latest fashionable fad Is to “adopt a style” in dress and stick to it I Many women carry this idea to the extent of having every frock in their wardrobe, with tho exception of sports outfits, cut exactly alike, fabrics and trimmings differing, of course, according to tbe occasions on which the dresses are to be worn! Thus they “hall-mark” their clothes, as it were, with their own personality and have the satisfaction of knowin g that they are being really economical. For. given a frock that suits you perfectly. nothing is simpler than to take the pattern and have others cut to the sane design. On© really good model, from a realiv good designer, will d ' it* dutv nobly in this respect, and most “little dressmakers” are quite capable of copying it in other Materials for other occasions. This scheme should appeal parti- • tilarly to women whose dress allowance is on the small side; if they can manage to purchase tho required perfect model, the rest is simple; nnd they can be quit© happy in the reflection that they are being extremely modish as well as thrifty !
