FOR TENTERFIELD TRAGEDY REVOLVER ALONGSIDE BODY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright SYDNEY, November 2G. The police have been notified from Tenterfield that the bullet wounds discernible in the heads of the five members of the Milton family are from a service revolver which was found lying beside Milton’s charred remains. The fire occurred an hour after Milton had gone off duty at Tenterfield police station. Milton’s niece, who was spending a holiday with the family, was the only occupant of the household to escape. When she awoke the flames were too advanced to permit of her entering the house, and sho vainly called to the family to come outside. As a result of a fire in a cottage at Tenterfield, at an early hour yesterday morning. Constable Miiton and his wife and three children were burned to death.
