Mr John K. Kennebeck, manager of Paramount’s Department oi Exploitation, arrived from Sydney by the Mamma on Tuesday last. Among the matters that bring Mr Kennebeck to New Zealand is the finalising of the arrangements for the coming of the ton American Indians, which will be coining to New Zealand to appear in connection with Zane Grey’s “The Vanishing Race.” It will be remembered that special permission had to bo obtained from the Government of the United States to bring these Indians to Australia, and it will be necessary to make sj>ecinl arrangements with the New Zealand Government to bring the red men here. Mr Reg. P. Davison. New Zealand manager of Paramount’s Publicity Department. has received manv enquiries in regard to the coming of these Indians, and certainly it is a great piece of news for the picture industry to be able to announce that they will definitely be here.
