I Fielding almost their strongest side, | the visitors completely outplayed Keighley. Although inconsistent in the later stages of the game, they dashed off with a great flourish, and played fine football during the first 20 minutes. The forwards Mount. Carroll, and Singe were most prominent, and scrummaged excellently, giving their halves many chances. The passing of the backs bordered on brilliancy, and Keighley were unable to chock the attacks. Sanders. Singe, and Davidson secured ..tries in quick time, Mount converting one, and kicking a penalty goal, giving New Zealand tho load by 13 points to nil. The visitors then eased up. and their scrummaging deteriorated, and play became cvener. Keighley secured possession more frequently, but lacked the necessary finish to complete llieir movements. (Received November 24. 5.5 p.m.) Early in the second half Thorpe gave a pass to Craven, who secured Keighley's only try. New Zealand then attacked again, Carroll and Mouat obtainirg tries, and Mouat converting his own. Dclgrosso and Davidson exhibited some admirable individual play. Although Now Zealand were in good form. Keighley were without several of their regular players, and generally gave a poor display. The receipts were £293. New Zealand team.—Duftr. Brown, Davidson.
