RANUI LADIES' CLUB A most enjoyable time was spent by visitors and members of the Ranui Ladies’ Golf Club on Saturday afternoon Inst when the official closing of the season took place. A foursome was played, the best scores returned being those of Miss Batham and Miss Carter, 2 down, and Miss Wolfe and Miss ! Nash, 3 down. The prizes were presented by Mr Dunbar Sloane, who, in the course of his speech, referred to the marked improvement in the standard of play, and to the keenness displayed by members in making themselves proficient at the game, which augured well for the future playing strength of the club.
