PROHIBITED IMMIGRANT
DEPORTATION ORDERED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 23. Stephen Reiss, a German seaman, who unlawfully landed in New Zealand from the American steamer West Nivaria, came before the Police Court to-day, and was ordered to be deported. The defendant said he had been “shanghaied” and was anxious to get back to America to commence an ao tion against the master of the. vessel.
