MR LLOYD GEORGE’S INTEREST PURCHASED BY SYNDICATE. Australian and N.Z Cable Association. LONDON, November 22. A group, including Mr Reading, chairman of the Calcutta Merchants’ Association, Sir David Yule, the banker, and Sir Thomas Catto, also a banker, has purchased Mr Lloyd George's controlling interest in United Newspapers, Limited. It is announced that their newspapers, including the “Daily Chronicle,” _ will follow a policy' of progressive Liberalism.
