The “Daily correspondent in Dublin says that investigations in connection with the recent armed raids revealed the existence, underground, of a most highly-organised selfgoverning Republican army, not owing allegiance to any party, but having most extensive ramifications. The average citizen does hot know whether his neighbour is a member of this organisation. Recently a well-dressed Dublin girl was convicted of conspiring to maintain this army. On the same day two men arid a daughter of Count Plunkett were convicted of conspiring to attack money-lenders, under the army’s orders. Those arrested include the chairman of the Cork County branch of the Gaelic Athletic Association, and also a champion hurdler. \
