CLAIM FOR DAMAGES . VERDICT FOR PLAINTIFF. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, November 23. The second hearing of claim for £962 11s 6d damages by -Harold Arthur Thorne, farm labourer, against Jack Olliver, farmer, of Hororata, on account of a collision at Hororata on March 2lst, 1925, was continued to-day before Mr Justice Stringer and a jury of twelve. A verdict was returned for plaintiff for £546 16s Bd, who was awarded costs on both hearings.

Plaintiff was riding a motor-cycle and defendant was driving a motorcar when the vehicles collided.
