TREGENNA’S "VOYAGE. Arriving at Auckland from New York on Saturday afternoon, the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer Tregenna, flying the Hain Line flag, berthed at the Prince’s wharf. The vessel cleared New York on October 10th, and called at Newport News for bunkers. On October 10th she encountered the tail-end of a cyclone, the wind blowing from all points of the compass for 24 hours. Heavy seas continually flooded the decks, but no damage was done. The Tregenna reached Colon-on October 21st, and passed through the Panama Canal on the same day. In the Pacific, fine weather was experienced to Pitcairn Island, after

which the vessel encountered westerly gales and high seas. From Auckland she is to proceed to southern ports to-day to continue discharge, and is due here on Saturday. Captain C. A. Woodcock is in command or the Tregenna, and the following are the officers: —Chief, Mr F. W. \Dalgleish: second< Mr W. B. Eouflignac; third Mr J. P. Brazzil; chief engineer. Mr S. Evans; second, Mr J. Cook; third, Mr H. Fairlie; fourth, Mr J. Douglas; wireless operator, Mr L. C. Hartley; chief steward, Mr G. Chambers. NAVUA AND ATUA. The Union Company's well-known steamers Navua and Atua, which were recently reported to have been sold, have been purchased by the Khediva] Line of London. The latter company maintains a passnger and cargo service around the Levant. Bed Sea .and Near Ehst ports. The Navua and Atua will leave Dunedin for Europe within two or three weeks. THE TANKER " OLIVA. Carrying a cargo of oil, the tanker Oliva, 5469 tons (Captain Purkis), left San Francisco on October 28th. It is not yet definitely known whether the vessel will proceed direct to Australia or whether she will first call at Auckland. The tanker was in wireless communication with the Hain steamer Tregenna coming across the Pacific, nnd if she is to call at Auckland she should arrive at Auckland to-day TAHITUS"PASSENGERS.
