COMMISSION SITS AT OTAKI. (“Times” Correspondent.) A sitting of the commission appointed to inquire into and to report upon petitions relative to an alteration in the borough boundaries took place. On the bench were John Hearsey Salmon, of Wellington, stipendiary magistrate; Henry William Charles Mackintosh, of Wellington, Commissioner of Crown Lands; and Finlay Nevin Martin, of Wellington, district valuer.. After taking a deal of evidence the commission stated that they would forward their report in due course.
