Fair demand for stored New Zealand and Australian. All others slow. Official quotations are: New Zealand—Finest salted: November 20th (old), 138 s to 142 s per cwt (1© 2Jd to Is 3d per lb); (new) 148 s to 150 s (Is 32d to Is 4d); November 13th (old), 1386 to 144 s (Is 2jd to Is 3Jd). Other qualities: November 20th. 130 s to 136 s (Is lijd to Is 2Jd). New Zealand Control Board official minimum prices are: Finest salted, 150 s per cwt (Is 4d); first grade, 148 s (Is 33d). Australian —Salted: November 20th, 138 s to 144 s per cwt (Is 2|d to Is 3Jd per lb); exceptional, 146 e (Is 3Jd); -November 13th, 14/0s to 144 s (Is 3d to Is 3*d). Unsalted: November 20th, 154 sto 158 s (Is 4*d to Is 4fd) ; exceptional, 160 s (Is sd); November 13th, 160 s to 164 s (Is 5d to Is s|d). Official quotations are : English finest farmers*: November 20th, 102 s to 108 s per cwt (lOfd to UJd per lb); November 13th, 102 s to 108 s (lofd to llld); demand is good for finest. Canadian—Coloured and white: November 20th, 85s to 88s (9d to 9Jd); November 13th: 86s to 88s (9d to 9id). New Zealand—Coloured and white: November 20th, 84s to 85s (9d); November 13th. 85s to 87s (9d to 91d). Control Board minimum prices for coloured and white are: Finest 85s (9d), first grade 84s (9d). Present quotations are: Mutton, fine 42s 6d ‘to 43s per cwt. fair to good 40s 6d to 425, dark to dull 38s 6d to 39s 6d; beef, sweet and/or mixed 41s 6d to 44s fid, fair to good 39s 6d to 41s, dark to dull 37s 6d to 38s 6d; mixed, fair to good 39s to 40s 6d, dark to dull 37s 6d to 38s 6d; gut, etc., 35s 6d to 375. , CASEIN. Present quotations are:—French rennet £55, Argentine rennet £45, Argentine lactic £56. HEMP. Manila market firm. “J" grade, No-vember-January shipments, sold up to £4B. Sisal market firmer with little better demand. No. 1 Tanganyika, Novem-ber-January shipments, quoted £43. New Zealand market firm but quiet; Novum-ber-January shipments quoted sellers £3B 10s; fair afloat sold £36 ss; November- . January shipments £36. Stock in Great Britain October 31st 21 tons, against 133 tons same time last year. APPLES. American.—Little more demand for barrels, but slow sales for boxes. Prices for barrels are:—York Imperial, Stayman’s Winsap,'and Ben Davis, 18s to 24s per barrel; Albemarle, Newton Pippin, 30s per barrel. Prices for boxes are: Jonathan, Newton Pippin and Delicious, 8s to 12s per box; Cox’s Orange, 20s to 25s per box. WOOL. Bradfoid market steady and fair business doing at last quotations. David&on, secretary), forward copy of its weekly cabled market report, dated London, November 19th: Butter —Market slow, business confined to stored butter, controlled butter neglected. Butter afloat from New Zealand, Australia, and Argentine, 560,000 boxes. Controlled price. New Zealand, 148 s to 150 s; store according to age, 135 s to 140 s; Australian, 138 s to 1465; Danish, 170 s. Cheese—Market very plow, business mainly confined to stored. Controlled price, New Zealand, 81s to 85s; stored, 78s to 82s, according to ago and condition.
