FIFTY REPUBLICANS GAOLED Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. (Received November 23, 8.15 p.m.) LONDON, November 22. Sixteen rai<|* followed the proclamation of a state of emergency in the Free State, and resulted in 50 arrests. The offices of Republican newspapers were searched, and the current issues were confiscated.
