THEN BACKHAUS SMILED. "Baxter's” does good work at Pianoforte Recital. At a Backhaus recital several elderly gentlemen in one of the front rows caused considerable annoyance by their in; cessant coughs. During the interval they were invited into the corridor by n gentleman sitting immediately behind. Whether he promised them anything stronger than "Baxter's” or not we uo not know, but we do know that when he got his victims to the corridor, it was "Baxter’s” that he gave them! The remainder of the programme was given in perfect silence, and Backhaus was obviously pleased, judging from the smile on his face as he bowed his acknowledgments ! Baxter's Lung Preserver wastes no time. It gets to work qilickiv, and stops these annoying, hacking coughs in a surprising manner. It has wonderful tonic properties, too. and never fails to ftive relief. Pleasant to take and economical —2s bd lor a gem»rou c -sized bottle from an- Chemist or Stove.
