November 18th, 1926. the following resolution waa passed: Tho Wellington City Council pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and its Amendments, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and its Amendments, and the Health Act, 1920, and its Amendments, and in pursuance of all- other Acts and powers (if any) it enabling in that behalf doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order : 1. That a Special Loan of thirty-six thousand one hundred pounds • (.£36.300) to bo known as "The Wellington City {Karori and Onslow Districts) Completion''; Loan. 1926" be raised by- the Wellington j City Council for the purpose of providing within its districts the following ! sanitary works, that is to say:— (1) The completion of the drainage of the Karori District being that portion of the City of Wellington that was comprised in the Borough of Karori on the Ist day of January, 1920: and (2) The completion of the drainage of the Onslow District being that potation of the City of Wellington that was comprised in the Borough of Onslow on the Ist dav of January, 1919, the amount of nine thousand . eight hundred pounds (-69800) being authorised to be borrowed by the said Council under the provisions of Section 19 of the Local. Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and the balance of Twenty-six thousand three hundred pounds (£26,300) being authorised to be borrowed by a requisition of the Board of Health under Section 22 of the Health Act, 1920, dated the 12th day of November, 1926. 2. That the interest on the said Loan be at a. rate not exceeding Five pounds ten shillings (.£3 10s)- per centum per'; annum payable Lalf-yearly during the : ‘ currency of the said Loan being a periodnot exceeding five and a half years from the Ist day of February 1927. 3. That a Sinking Fund of One Pound (£1) per centum per annum be established in connection with tho said Loan. 4. That the security for the interest, sinking fund and other charges and repayment of the said Loan be a Special Rate on the unimproved value of all ratable property in the City of Wellington so calculated as to yield the interest and sinking fund and other chargee of the said Loan and 10 per cent, additional on these amounts. 5. That three hundred and sixty-one (361) debentures each for One hundred pounds (£100) and relative coupons in a form in conformity with the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, be executed, sealed and issued.
