FLOOD RELIEF
SI wiITS MEETING RESULTS. Per Press Association. WESTPORT, November 20. A sports meeting was held to-day in Victoria Square in aid of the hood relief fund. The principal races resulted as follows: Mile cycle: Cropp 1, Blair 2, Hulquist 3. 135yds: Sheffield (holder) I, Easton '2,' Crooks 3. Pursuit cycle race (three miles): Lindop beat Hulquist by about 20 yards. Two-mile cycle: Cropp 1, Lindop 2, Cummings 3. 220yds: Woods beat Crook*. the holder. ’ Three-mile cycle: Lindop I, Cropp 3, Hulquist 2. , 440yds: Croaks 1, O’lfJea 2, Harris 3' Half-mile: Larsen 1, McHerron 2. In the races cyclists v. runners (100 yds), Blair (cyclist) defeated Connolly (runner) by two yards, and L, Lindop (cyclist) defeated Crpoks by three yards.
