During the year 235 discharged prisoners were assisted, 253 beds supplied, 622 meals provided: 30 were helped with clothes, books and tools; 44 with fares; employment found for 50; and 20 families were assisted.
It is gratifying to relate that the incorporation of the society has been accomplished, the rules have been printed and copies are now available. This is a wise move, and should greatly assist the society. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr P. J. O’Regan for his services in the interests of the society.
The following officers were elected for tho coming year: President, Sir Robert Stout; vice-president. Mr W. G. Riddell, S.M.; secretary and trasurer, Mr T. P. Mills; committee. Mr E. Page. S.M., Messrs I. Salek. O. C. Bates; lion, solicitor, Mr P. .1. O’Regau; hon, auditor,, Mr. F» W-
