“THE GIRL BEHIND THE COUNTER”
DAVID DEVITT’S PRODUCTION
Keen interest is being taken in David DetfHtfs production of “The Girl Behind the Counter” (by arrangement with J. C. Williamson, Ltd.), which commences on Thursday, December 2nd, at the Grand Opera House. The musical comedy is by Howard Talbot and Leedham Bantock, who were also responsible for such successes as “The Arcadians,” “Who’s Hooper,” “The Boy.” When produced in London included in the cast were well-known artists, such as Isabel Jay and Lawrence Grossmith. MeDevitt has gathered together a splendid band of workers, including Alice Harris, Lillian Grey, Mollie Plimmer, Kitty Murie, Mabel Robertson, Norman Byrne, Robert Charlton, Joseph Hunt. Harold Abbot, James Mcßride, Walter Norwood. Leslie Anderson, and Jack Cannon. Miss ; Florenco Hepworth and Philip Low are the principal dancers. Mr Iren Barnes is in charge of the music.
