CONCILIATION COURT

MOTOR TRANSPORT PASSENGER SERVICES Proceedings in connection with the claims of the workers engaged in motor transport passenger services throughout the Dominion were further considered yesterday before a Council of Conciliation, presided over by the Commissioner, Mr P. Hally. The proceedings were taken in committee, and at tho conclusion of the meeting a special announcement was made that a working agreement had been arranged in connection with all disputed points, including wages and hours of work, so far as sert ice-car employoes arc concerned. The remaining sections, viz., taxis employees and those workers employed on suburban cars, will be heard at Auckland on Monday next, tho 22nd inst. The working hours are 96 per fortnight; wages, £5 per week. These apply to service-cars only. Mr P. Hallv. Conciliation Commissione*r( leaves for Auckland to-morrow\
