With the completion of tho organ for Liverpool Cathedral, at the totul cost of £35,000, England possesses the largest in the world. This mngniAcent specimen of the “king of instruments*’ has live manuals and 105 speaking stops. The world’s record was previously held by the organ built for the World’s Exposition at St. Louis. This had beaten the fine instrument in the Centennial Hall in Sydney, which in its turn had eclipsed the organ in the rival capital of Melbourne. Previously.
