WILL NOT DEFEND TITLE
NATIONAL TENNIS CHAMPION
According to advice received in Wellington, Geoffrey Ollivier, New Zealand lawn tennis champion, will not defend his title at Auckland this year. Don France, runner-up to Ollivier in the national singles championship last season, recently sought the Canterbury man as a doubles partner for the coming tournament, and has received a reply from Ollivier that he does noft intend to make the trip to Auckland, though friends in Christchurch are urging him to go, iiiiNiiiaiiiHiiiiiiiiiiuiiiiiiiiiiniiiiiiiiiaiiiiiiMiiiaiix'iiiX'ixiN'
