GAOL FOR GUARDSMAN
Found guilty at an Aldershot courtmartial of pursuing the company mu’-geant-major with a rifle and fixed bayonet at a battalion parade, Guardsman Francis Mostyn, of the Ist Irish Guards, has been sentenced to six months’ imprisonment. The sentence was officially promulgated at Aldershot. When the sentence was v read to Mostyn he was told that the general had remitted '56 days.
