THE LOAN PROPOSALS
The Hutt Valley Power Board advertises that meetings will be held throughout the district so that ratepayers may be made conversant with the loan proposal on which a poll is to be taken on December Ist next.
The £150,000 for which authority is sought, is evidently essential. The rapid progress made has exceeded the most optimistic expectations and has placed the hoard in the position of third in New Zealand (exclusive of cities! as regards number of consumers.
