SAILING IN JANUARY The team leave for Canada in the Montcalm on January 7th, and will play matches at Vancouver and Victoria (8.C.). The team will arrive at Auckland on February 28th. The “Daily Mail” is of the opinion that the Maoris are not being coached sufficiently in dribbling, in which they are most ineffective, rarely taking the hall two yards and resulting in an endless loss of opportunities. SOUVENIRS FROM WALES Souvenirs, the idea of which originated from the Welsh national football anthem, “Sospan Fach” (Anglice, “Little Saucepan”) and red, which is the national football colour, were presented to Mr W. T. Pnrata and Barclay. Each received a silver snucennn decorated with scarlet, ribbons. The other players received miniature replicas.
