PRIME MINISTER’S RETURN
IN JANUARY OR FEBRUARY It is expected that the Prime Min* ister and party will return to New Zealand ‘ about the end of January or the beginning of February, in good time to enable Mr Coa - tes to take part in the official welcome to the Ihike and Duchess of York. No definite advice has been received as to when the party will be leaving England, but it is expected that they will sail about the end of December, probably travelling via Canada. According to cablegrams from London, the Imperial‘Conference will conclude in’a. few days. Mr Coates then will probably visit various cities, including ‘ Edinburgh, and arrangements have been made for-a'numbe rof ceremonial functions, including the freedom of certain : large towns. Later Mr Coates will spend some days in France, visiting the -batlefields, etc. For ,the convenience of those wishing to corresporid with the Prime Minister it is pointed out that the mail which is to leave bv the Aorangi from Auckland on Tuesday next will be the last to reach him before his departure for New. Zealand.
