STONE’S DIRECTORY

ITS 36th ISSUE No commercial or business man’s office is complete without a copy of Stone’s Wellington, Tarauaki, and Hawke’s Bay Directory, the 36th issue of which is jußt published. It has been added to and improved in various ways, the directory having been compiled by the huge task, but thoroughly done, of a house -to house canvass, and all other information is revised by reliable authorities. Often there are names with the same pronunciation, but which are spelt differently, and seekers after such information are given various references to facilitate their quest. The municipal and country directory contains much information which business men should always have at their elbow, and there is a very full list of societies of all sorts, including friendly societies, musical and sporting bodies, and an official and judicial directory. There is an ecclesiastical guide to all religious bodies, list of taxi and hackney carriage fares, express nnd cartage charges, Customs, meteorological and statistical information, all in a form handy and easy to find. At tho price of 2os it is one of the cheapest publications on the market.
