A HEAVY CALENDAR

, SUPREME COURT CASES CHRISTCHURCH QUARTERLY SESSIONS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, November 16. An exceptionally heavy calendar was represented at the criminal sessions at the Supreme Court to-day, twentythree persons being charged with offences. There was a charge of murder and manslaughter, two charges of causing death through negligently driving motor vehicles, several housebreaking, and more charges connected with sexual matters than have come before the court for a long time. Mr Justice Adams dealt with the cases in detail, and said he regretted the length of the calendar.
