PROBLEM OF EMPLOYMENT SKILLED OR UNSKILLED LABOUR? DIFFICULTIES IN THE WAY “Employment for boys leaving school” was the subject of an address given by Mr F. W. Rowley, secretary of the Labour Department, at the Rotary Club’s luncheon yesterday. Referring to hoys about to leave school. Mr Rowley stated that the question ot ivlmt employment a boy’ should take up was more important than many people imagined. Young boys were very impressionable, and were liable to be led astray. Therefore it was essential that tho lad should go into some business or trade that was congenial to him. After all the boys were the men of tbe future, and it was necessary that they should have proper guidance.
