AN EASY WAY TO STOP INDIGESTION

The easiest, quickest, and surest way to stop indigestion is to remove the cause of the trouble. Practically all forms of indigestion and stomach trouble are due to, or accompanied by, an abnormal condition known as acidity, which causes fermentation and the formation of gas. Correct this condition and all pain and distress almost instantly disappear. For this purpose the best thing known is to take a little of that harmless antacid known as “Bisurnted” Magnesia. This instantly neutralises the acid, stops the fermentation and formation of gas, and permits painless normal digestion. Get a package of “Bisurated” Magnesia (powder or tablets) from vour chemist, and take after eating or whenever pain is felt .and you’ll be astonished at the results—pain, distress, discomfort, and fullness all gon* as if hv magic. Nothing else relieves as quickly and surely as “Bisurated’* -Magnesia.

The claims of the Danish women to give the title “Fru” (Mrs) to all women, whether married or not, has been granted by a special decree of Government with regard to all official documents, and no doubt in time the distom in personal intercourse will follow. The resignation of Miss Winifred A. Cathie, M.A., late of Wellington, was received by the Taranaki Technical High School Board of Governors last week. The resignation is to take effect as from January Ist. In her letter, Miss Cathie said: “January Ist is the date upon which my year’s leave of absence expires, but I have found it impossible in planning the remainder of my trip to return to New Zealand so early in the year. As I am still uncertain of the exact time of my return to New Zealand, I feel sure it would not be fair- to ask for any extension of the leave.” The resignation was accepted, and the vacancy created will be advertised. The hoard’s appreciation of Miss Cathie’s past services was placed On record. The ideal vinegar for pickling purposes is SHARLAND’S TABLE VINEGAR. Free from mineral acids. Excellent flavour and strength.—Advt*
