“NARROW, SNOBBISH BIAS”

EXCLUSION OF JEWESSES GOLF OfrUß CASTIGATED. (Sydney "Sun” Cable.) LONDON, November 15. The “Jewish commenting on the decision of the Mid-Surrey , Golf .Club to veto the membership of Jewesses, said: “We see no reason .for heroic protests and fretful regrets. It is not the first time this has occurred in golf clubs, which are private concerns whose members are entitled to determine, however senselessly, those with whom they shall be associated. The exclilßion of Jews is not anti-Judaism in the sense of antiSemitism. but is the result of a narrow, snoobish, social bias.”
