ISSUED VALUELESS CHEQUES. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, November 15. J, Durant, alias H. Wilson, pleaded guilty to-day to obtaining £l4 10s fid by false pretences from T. McGuire, hotelkeeper, by issuing valueless cheques drawn on the Bank of Australia at Otaki. He was ooinmitted to the Supreme Court for sentence.
