NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City- Council held on OCTOBER 21st, 1926, it was resolved as follows: T(ie Wellington City Council, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,'and all other powers enabling it in that'behalf, doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order to accept a surrender of Lease dated the 29th day of May, 1913, Registered Number 110951, made between the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington of the one part and the Drapery and General Importing Company of New Zealand, Limited, of the . other part of Sections 71, 75, and part of 65a, Lambton Reclamation, and to grant to.the surrenderor the said’ Company a new lease for the unexpired portion of the term of the surrendered lease, subject to the following provisions:— 1. The new lease shall contain provision for renewal' for successive periods of twenty-one years’at a ground rent to he fixed by valuation. 2. The cost of- preparation of the* new lease and of this Special Order shall be oayable by the surrenderor. - The above resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be helcf on THURSDAY, November 18tli, 1926, at 4 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Tpwn Hall, Cuba street, in the City of Wellington.
