CONFERENCE SUGGESTED
At tbe last meeting of tbe Mak-ora County Council, tbe chairman (Mr E. Windley) said that he was in favour of a Dominion conference of contributing bodies to the fond for the maintenance of hospitals being held in order to consider the whole question. After a general discussion, it was agreed that application should be made for official information in regard to tbe levies of the 'Wellington Hospital Board, including tho total incomes of the Tarious contributing bodies and the amounts of their contributions.
