CHARGE OF BEING DRUNK. Per Press Association. MASTERTON, November 18. James Bernard McKenzie, charged at the Magistrate’s Court to-day with being drunk while in charge of . a motor-car, was fined £2O and disqualified for twelve months from holding a license. The accused's car knocked down a girl on a bicycle in Queen street yesterday afternoon. Alfred Croft, who was in the car with McKenzie when the accident occurred, was ♦ned 10s for drunkenness.
