BOYS’ INSTITUTE SPORTS EXCELLENT FORM SHOWN. The annual sports of the Wellington Boys’ Institute were held on the Scots College grounds on Saturday. The ground was rather soft, and there was an exceptionally keen wind blowing, but that did not stop the competitors showing excellent form. Kidd with 21 points, with McNair second with 12 points, and Clark third with 6 points. Other scorers were: Webb, 4; Fraser, 1. The intermediate challenge cup was won by Murphy with 20 points, with Solomon second with 13 points, and Saunders third with 5 points. Other scorers were: R. Kidd. 3; Willis, Simons, and McNair. 1 each. The junior challenge cup was won by Brewer with 18 points, Maslem second with 13 points, and Kidd third with 9 points. Others who scored points were: Koothead, 3; Arkinstall, 3; and Brockie 1.
