The official landing at Farm Cove is fixed at 11 o’clock. The Royal progress through the streets to Government House starts half au hour later. Bright weather to-day enabled hundreds of men to work feverishly to repair the damage done by the rain and put the final touches to the decorations. .Inter-State and - ' country .visitors have'been'pouring in by trainloads for some days, and these to-day have been taking the opportunity to view thodong route before the crush, renders it impossible to traverse the route, which from end to end is a brilliant spectacle of waving bunting, greenery, arches, devices and mottoes. Every precaution is being taken to restrain the, crowds, and prevent a recurrence of over-enthusiasm such interfered with the proceedings m Victoria. The public has been asked to refrain from untoward demonstrations, rushes and the throwing ofecnictii and flowers, and to .assist the big bodies of police and troops in Ihei'o duties in neoing the programme carried out ii an orderly manner.
