NOT TO BE UNDER PRIVY COUNCIL OFFICE, A short time ago a cable renort'was circulated to the effect that the office of tlic Lord President of the Council (Privy Council office) would tako over the departmental work in connection with the Oversea. Dominions.

The Secretary of State for the Colonies has now scut a telegram to the Governor-General, informing the Prime Minister that Mr Lloyd George, who was asked in the House of Commons on June 3rd, whether such a new departure was intended, stated that the reply was in the negative.
