The first meeting of the anomalies committee set up some time ago afc the reddest of the local Returned Soldiers' Association for the purpose oF considering special features in regard to tho payment of tho war gratuity, v. ill bo held to-day. Tho committee, which consists of Mr R. J. E. Aldrieh, representing tho R.S.A.. Lieutenant-Colonel J. W. Hutrhen. War Expenses Department, and Colonel J. J. Ksson, the Treasury, will meet at tho Base Records Office.
