EDMUND CUE AT DUNEDIN,
BROOKLYN MAN FIRST PAST POST. TEE PKESS ARSOCJ4TION. DUNEDIN, June 14. Tho harrier championship for the Edmond Cup, run at Wingatui on Saturday, was won by *ho Pacifio Club with 66 points, Anglican second with 85, and Brooklyn (Wellington) third with 103. The first man past the port was B. Bell of Brooklyn, fifty yards m front of the second man. Bell's time in the race, which is a shade under three miles, was 16min 39eeo. The course included hurdles, water jumps, and sod'walls. It was the first time the race has been run since 1914.
Tha Brooklvn Harriers held their weekly run from Brooklyn on Saturday. Owing to the club banns: a **am competinjr in the Edmund,Cup race at Dunedin 'only fifteen rtook part, but nevertheless a most enjoyable run of 3} miles was' held. A handicap run-in of 120 yards resulted :-F. S. Hill, 1; J. Greig:, 2; J. H. Newman, 3.
