Saturday's sitting of the Magistrate’s Court was presided over by Mr E. .Page, S.M.

Mr C. A. L. Treadwell represented the hoy of twelve, who pleaded not guilty, while the younger bov admitted breaking a window and stealing the coins. Further consideration of the case was adjourned—in the case of the older boy, for six, months, and in the other case for two years, during which period the boys would have to report themselves to the Probation Officer (Mr J. Dineen).
