EQUAL PAY TO 3IBN DEMANDED. Ttn PRESS ASSOCIATION’. CHRISTCHURCH, Juno 13. j At a meeting, incctly attended by women, hold in the Trades Hall last night, the following motion was carried : “That this meeting of Christchurch citizens is of opinion that women should receive equal pay for equal work, and in the case of the cost of living bonus being arranged for should receive it in full.’’ 'The meeting also asks that the next session' of Parliament shall legislate in the direction of a higher wage for New Zealand women. A motion was also carried demanding the appointment of a woman representative on the Arbitration Court,
