INCLUSION OF LYCETT AND FISHER. A NEWSPAPEB. CONTROVERSY. (Reuter's Telegram.) (Received dunes 12, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, June 10. A ncwspaiper controversy is progressing regard the British Isles Davis Cup selections owing to tho eligibility of Randolph Lycett, also the Now Zealander, F. SI. B. Fisher, to pHy in the British team noroi ding to tho international regulations, rule 9, seeing that Lycett was born in Birmingham and Fisher qualified rosidenfcially. Both are playing a great game in tho present tournament, showing tho strongest double throughout the country. Some newspapers are urging Australia to_ resent their inclusion, hut other critics explain that the Australians are fine sports and will not dream of offering any objection.
