COMING COMPETITIONS. The next tournament to be promoted by tbs local Boxing Association is the amateur provincial championships, which will be hold on two nights at the end of tbo month, and from the winnens will bo selected the team to represent Wellington at the Now Zealand championships at Hostings at the end of July. A notice to intending competitors will be found in our advertising columns. The association will bo in a position to announce shortly the next professional tournament. It is likely that either Yolairo or Havilah Uren will bo matched with Digger Evans, the English lightweight, or Jamito or Macario, the Eilipino uoxera, at present in Australia.
