The final election figures show the position of tho parties To be as follows :

Centro party 67, Majority Socialists 110, Democrats 46 (giving the Coalition 223 seats out qf 460). Too largest of the other parties are: —Nationalists 65, Popular party 61, Independent Socialists SO.

BERLIN, June 9. The now Reichstag consists of 460 members, composed as follows: —Soc.ial Democrats 110. Centre party 07, Democrats 45, Christian Federalists 21, German Nationalists 65, German People’s party 61, Independent Socialists 80, Communists 21, Bavarian Peasants 4. Guclplis 5. The total poll was 25,719,000. Herr Schlickc, Minister for Labour, was the only member of Cabinet who failed to got a seat.

The results show the following election losses: Majority Socialists 35 seats, Democrats 30, Centro 4; and tho following gains : —lndependent Socialists 58, German People’s party 39, German Nationalists 23. Thus the Coalition, which numbered 326 in the old Assembly, has now only 222 members, while tho Opposition, which formerly numbered 86, is now 238. MUELLER TO FORM CABINET. OUTLOOK FULL OF MENACE. Tho ‘‘Matiii’s’’ Berlin correspondent says it is expected that Muojler, in forming a Ministry, will first appeal for the support of the Independents. If this is refused he will seek to secure popular support. It adds: “The outlook is full of menace for Germany, and carries more difficulties for tho Allies. Tho formation of a Government from tho Moderate parties is impracticable.” “Lc Journal” questions whether, apart from other obstacles, the situation created by tho elections will allow the Spa Conference to ibo held on tho date fixed for it, A REMARKABLE FEATURE. Hie “Daily Chronicle’s” Berlin correspondent says that a romantic feature of the elections is the growth qf tho so-called Popular party, which is identical with tho old National Liberals, and was raised and financed by Herr Hugo Stinncr, who now controls 62 newspapers. He is far and away tbo wealthiest and most powerful German, and is probably worth a thousand million marks. Ho made enormous fortunes out of war contracts, and has been spending liberally to build up the new party on tho ruins of tho National Liberals, who collapsed with tho monarchy. His name is now in everybody’s mouth. Some think he is tho great man whom Gcrnißny is seeking as the saviour of tho country.
