RETURNED SOLDIERS
MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. A general meeting of members of the Wellington Returned Soldiers’ Association was held last night,_ the chairman, Mr W. Perry, presiding. Two nominations—those of Messrs A. Kyle and J. I. Fox—were received for a vacant position on the executive, Mr Fox being elected. Several amendments to the standing orders were adopted. Messrs W. Perry and A. B. Sievwright, who were delegates to the recent conference of the Npw Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association, reported on the business transacted at the conference, and received a vote of thanks for their service?. Tbe secretary reported that forms of application for Australian gratuity arc obtainable at his office.
